About Attorney Gardner Eastland

S. Gardner Eastland is a native Houstonian. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with honors from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Gardner earned his Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University Law School in Dallas and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003.

Mr. Eastland’s introduction to the legal arena began as an adolescent. At 16 years old, while working for the family practice making copies and deliveries, he knew he wanted to practice law and follow in the family footsteps as a third-generation Houston attorney.

As a law student, Gardner was a Chief Justice in moot court competitions and volunteered to teach first year law students advocacy skills. Mr. Gardner also served as a prosecutor for Dallas County while finishing up law school. Today, he is an established lawyer who has obtained successful results for many people looking for assistance with family law matters. He has received widespread recognition in the community and numerous accolades for his legal work.

Garner Eastland also understands family law matters from a personal standpoint. He has gone through his own divorce and understands the concerns and risks his clients face. He isn’t afraid to litigate any case, big or small, to get results for his clients. Such a hard-hitting approach has often led to favorable settlements on behalf of his clients.

Gardner has co-authored several continuing legal education articles for the State Bar of Texas. He is also a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association, the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Burta Rhoads Raborn Inns of Court. Gardner is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
